This survey is sponsored and supported by Workforce Planning Hamilton in support of Connect, Communicate, Collaborate: Strengthening the Service Delivery Network in Hamilton.

The goal of this project is to review the service delivery network structure in Hamilton and identify a model that improves connectivity and strengthens linkages across the Employment & Training system including those agencies that are EO funded and those that are funded through other Ministries.

In the following sections we are asking those who are connected to the Employment & Training system about their experience working in this sector and how we can improve and broaden our connectivity across the system.

Members of WIN Hamilton are all part of a broad network of employment and training services in Hamilton.  In this survey we are asking all E & T workers about your knowledge of this system and how communication occurs.  We are looking to see how we can improve connections and communications across this broad network.

This workshop is designed to build yourself awareness on what your skills, interests, and values are; 3 topics that we sometimes forget to con-sider, and are crucial when exploring what careers are a best fit for YOU. We use fun interactive assessments to open your mind and assess yourself. At the end of this workshop, you will have a better understanding of your employment needs and the tools to assist you on your way

Career Cruising is a fun online career assessment that assesses your skills and interests, and then provides you with suggestions on what ca-reers you may be interested in researching further. Once you have completed the assessment, we will use this website to research the job de-scription, earnings, requirements such as education, career path, working conditions and event related careers you never thought about! You will also be provided with helpful links to check out the labour market trends in your community for that career.
